Janet L. Yellen, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, is thought to favor keeping rates low.
Choosing people because of the vote getting expedience of their dovish credentials is exactly why we made the Federal Reserve independent in the first place. I know everyone does this sort of think, but it doesn’t make it right or a good idea.
